Wipe down all of your pup’s toys weekly with vinegar and water solution or soap and warm water. Wash bedding once per week in hot water.

Exercise your pup in the yard or in an ample space to reduce the amount of allergens he is coming in contact with every day.

Limit dust exposure by running a HEPA filter during cold and flu season. Some pet owners find that air filters help their pets, while others find they make no difference. If you do, they can be found online for around $30.

Take your pup to the groomer to get rid of any allergens hiding in his fur. Sneeze himself dry! If he has long hair, it may be time for a trim. Talk with your vet about whether or not shaving is appropriate for your dog’s breed and skin type.

Bath your pup every week. Some dogs with allergies have relief from their symptoms after a good scrub down. Make sure you find a shampoo that won’t further irritate your pup’s skin and that you rinse the soap thoroughly from his fur, as soapy residue can irritate.
